Isabelle Delrieu, PhD, MPH

Originally a researcher in molecular biology of malaria, Isabelle gradually moved to international public health applied to infectious diseases. Since 2009, she has been involved in scientific and project management activities related to vaccine preventable diseases in low and middle income countries. Her experience includes the development of training materials and communication tools for malaria and dengue vaccines, and for the EYE (Eliminate Yellow Fever Epidemics) strategy. She was in charge of coordinating and implementating field epidemiological studies (Neisseria meningitidis serogroup X seroprevalence in Togo), and performing data analysis (timeliness of infant vaccination, NmX seroprevalence). She participated to the elaboration of protocols (malaria vaccine pharmacovigilance studies), and conducted literature reviews (cholera outbreaks in Africa, rotavirus in DRC) and surveys (capacity building for African national malaria program managers). She authored several technical and scientific reports, as well as peer-reviewed scientific publications. Since 2017, Isabelle is the leading expert for activities related to biological sciences and epidemiology at EpiLinks.

In her portfolio of projects and research, Isabelle worked for leading pharmaceutical companies (Sanofi Pasteur, GSK), international organizations and foundations (WHO, Roll Back Malaria, PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative, Fondation Mérieux, BMGF, Meningitis Research Foundation), and national institutes (Institut Pasteur Paris, National Institute for Medical Research in London, INSERM and CNRS).

Isabelle holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France, and a Master of Public Health from the School Pasteur-Cnam of Public Health, Paris.

As a cofounder, Isabelle is responsible for EpiLinks’ external and scientific communication, and she contributes to business development and other organizational and administrative activities in the company.
