Field epidemiology

 

Florentina is a Public Health expert, specializing in field epidemiology. Her skills cover the areas of epidemic preparation and response, outbreak investigations, surveillance of diseases with epidemic potential and immunization.

Florentina was notably an expert on cholera for the World Health Organization. She has carried out numerous missions for research institutes, international governmental and non-governmental organizations, and has lived and worked in several resource-limited settings. 

Florentina holds a PhD in public health from the Limoges Institute of Tropical Neurology (France).
